Our Story

If we could, we’d adopt every child or cat we meet, but that would limit our ability to make a broader impact.

Before the pandemic, Travis had an office in downtown Tampa Bay with a substantial marketing and advertising budget. When social distancing became necessary, Travis was forced to work from home. Surrounded by his loved ones with little need for the outside, it was his happy place.

That’s when we decided to repurpose Travis’ marketing and advertising budget towards supporting the Tampa Bay community.

With everyone social distancing, one of our initial ideas was to create a bridge by purchasing a few hundred meals every Friday to help restaurants while feeding essential employees and those in need. We partnered with the Community Enrichment Lab and created the We Nourish program.

Our efforts led to a $500,000 grant from Hillsborough County to scale the model, putting more people to work and feeding even more in need.

Inspired by this success, and our other community-minded endeavors, we funded The Jennings Family Foundation in 2020.
